Hi,
Ive just bought a '85 2X4 yn57 hilux xtra cab.
It needs a bit off work/parts - so I thought Id ask here before the wreckers.
I will add more to the list later but I need:
A steering wheel - Id like a aftermarket one - also a BOSS for it.
Newer seats -will later model hilux seats fit?
Better motor then the 2l 3y- 22R maybe? - its got a W series gearbox, which seems to bolt up to a few toyota motors
the indicator light switches base.
4 spot front brake calipers from the later lux


Does anyone know if i can run car mags/tyres on this legally? The tyre shop says NO but there is lots of 80's hiluxs on carsales.com with 18's and low profile tyres with RWCs..

I need seatbelts.
umm and tyres for the std wheels ie 195/65/14 OR
some older falcon mags with rwc tyres .
anyone?
