The car is immaculate and has had lots of money spent. We bought it from a used car dealer in Brisbane. He first had it on his lot in 1988 where he then sold it to its 2nd owner, an elderly gentleman. In 2006 he returned to the same dealer and traded it in. I have seen documentation of this, it’s not one of those made up stories. We have done only 15,000km since late 2006 and kept it garaged the whole time. Serviced every 6 months regardless of k’s driven.
Good Points:
- There is NO RUST at all, which for a VL is a miracle.
- Drives like its on rails, no rattles, very firm
- One of the cleanest, well looked after VL’s you will ever find
Bad points:
- There are some small dents here and there
- Minor damage to bottom of spare wheel well from being so low
- Boot, rear driver door and quarter paint job is not perfect
- Boot channel has been repaired under the seal with fibreglass, has been smoothed and painted and you can’t even tell but I thought I’d mention it
